my NEPHEW is sooooooooo cute...i miss u...

an update before p2 year starts...

some of what's been goin on during summer '06

went to penn state for almost two weeks and saw my nephew Caleb...i miss him soooo much!

he's in the laughing stage! (can't believe i'm missing it)


this is just how small he is...or should i say 'he WAS'


went KAYAKing for the first time...


me trying to go against the current...thank God i didn't flip...


went back to penn a couple wks later to attend dan n kat's wedding...

went to UIUC (urbana) for a summer bible conference...
a group of gals at a cafe nearby


went to washington with the orchestra...(who has a pic of me performing?)

on the bus...


got to see ALMOST everything in exactly ONE DAY...
first the vietnam memorial (wall of names of all the soldiers missing and dead)


then to the korean memorial...
written right in front of statues of soldiers


the washington monument right behind us...


lincoln memorial...


the jefferson memorial...




the FDR memorial...(rocks n water...know the significance?)

then visited University of Maryland...beautiful campus...

and to end the summer.....a CAMPING trip...

to keep it short...i am NOT a camper...no no no
but the FOOD was A-W-E-S-O-M-E...i think i ate triple portions (yes, i'm nice n plumper than i used to be...i'll admit it)

(now that i think of it, i shouldve taken pics of those daddy long legs that haunted me throughout the whole trip...)
